Penny Thompson

Penny Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in distance learning and military operations management. Currently serving as the Distance Learning Manager at Sonoran Technology and Professional Services, LLC since January 2015, Penny provides expertise in supporting the Distance Learning Architecture for the Command and Control community of Air Combat Command. Previous roles include Joint Task Force Certification Action Officer at USPACOM, where Penny managed the Issue Resolution Program and Joint Lessons Learned Program, as well as Deputy Director of the Combat Operations Division at Al Udeid. Additionally, Penny held the position of Chief of Distance Learning Plans and Programs at the Air Command and Staff College, overseeing comprehensive distance learning project management. Penny holds a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from Air Command and Staff College and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama.
