Adrien Ycart

Adrien Ycart is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Sonos, Inc. since September 2024, contributing to the ASR Team. Previously, Adrien held the position of Senior Machine Learning Scientist at SoundHound AI from February 2022 to September 2024, and was involved in the Language Modelling Team as a Machine Learning Scientist. Prior to that, Adrien worked as an R&D Engineer at NomadPlay, focusing on audio source separation for classical music, and completed an internship at Sony CSL Music Team, where automatic lead-sheet transcription was developed. Earlier experience includes a Research Engineer role at IRCAM, working on rhythm transcription interfaces, and an intern position at Arturia assessing Intel's IPP library. Adrien holds a PhD in Music Language Models for Automatic Music Transcription from Queen Mary University of London, along with Master's degrees from IRCAM and Télécom Paris in relevant fields.
