James Overend

James Overend serves as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding at Sonova Group since April 2023, focusing on transforming lives through innovative hearing care solutions. Previously, James held the position of Global Head of Recruitment Operations at Lonza from June 2018 to March 2023, where responsibilities included optimizing recruitment delivery models and leading global talent attraction initiatives. James also served as Global Talent Acquisition Manager at Ericsson and Head of Talent Acquisition - Europe at NVIDIA, overseeing recruitment operations across multiple countries. Early career experiences include roles at Arm, WA Consultants, and Reed, contributing to a robust foundation in technical and permanent recruitment. James holds a BA (hons) in Philosophy with Italian from the University of Kent and participated in an Erasmus program at Università di Siena.
