Christian Wachtmeister

Christian Wachtmeister has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Christian currently serves as the Managing Director at Sonplas GmbH since January 2023, where they previously worked as the Head of Product Group Battery in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Mentor at edu8 GmbH starting in August 2020. In 2016, they initiated the German Malaysian Round Table chapter. From June 2019 to December 2021, they were the Managing Director - Senior Consultant at ConLian Consulting, specializing in strategy, process optimization, and internationalization for small and medium enterprises. From October 2016 to December 2021, they held the position of Assistant Professor at Deggendorf Institute of Technology. Before that, they held various roles at Muhlbauer Group, including Head of Corporate Development and Human Resources, Head of Corporate Development, Managing Director/Project Manager for a greenfield project in China (Wuxi), and Head of Research and Development. Christian also worked as an Interim Manager at Rommel GmbH (Member of Muhlbauer Group). Christian began their career as the Managing Director at Muehlbauer Technlogies Melaka from October 2006 to March 2010.
