Jason Weintraub is an experienced professional in the broadcast and telecommunications industry with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Senior Manager in the National Accounts Organization at Sony Electronics since February 2000, Jason specializes as a Principal Design/Technical Consultant and Demo Artist/Trainer for Sony's MVS line of switchers and control room automation solutions. Prior to this role, Jason held the position of Engineering Manager at WDIV-TV from February 1997 to September 2014, overseeing the hiring, scheduling, and training of directors and stage managers, while also making key decisions on equipment purchases and training. Jason also worked as a Freelance Sports Technical Director, providing technical direction and audio engineering services for various sports broadcasts from September 1993 to February 1997. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications Engineering from Michigan State University, earned in 1996.
