Louis Tsiattalou has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Louis started their career at InfoCat as a Consultant, where they built and integrated financial systems for various sectors. In 2017, they joined the Civil Service Fast Stream as a Data Scientist in Operational Research, working at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Food Standards Agency.

In 2019, Louis became a Data Science Team Leader at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, leading a team of Data Scientists on high-profile projects with short delivery timescales. Louis then moved to HM Treasury in 2020 as the Head of the Data Science Unit, where they introduced Data Science methods to the ministry's policymaking process and played a crucial role in the department's analytical strategy for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Louis joined the Competition and Markets Authority in 2021 as a Senior Data Engineer in the Data, Technology, and Analytics unit. Their responsibilities included building data pipelines and bespoke software to support data-led mergers investigations and market studies. Louis also contributed to the development of the CMA's Data Science infrastructure.

Currently, Louis is working as a Senior Big Data Engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment since 2022.

Louis Tsiattalou attended the University of Exeter from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Mathematics. Louis successfully completed their studies and obtained an MSci degree in Mathematics, with a specialization in Geophysical and Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics.
