Engineer – Information Technology Operation Center at Sony Interactive Entertainment

Sandaruwan Pathiraja has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Sandaruwan began their career as a System Executive at Lanka Bell in 2007, where they carried out IT system operation activities and operated the help desk efficiently. Sandaruwan then worked as a System Engineer at Koyo Communications Co., Ltd. from 2009 to 2013, where they managed company servers and performed troubleshooting tasks. Sandaruwan also gained experience as a System Support Engineer at Australian business IT in 2014, where they operated the tickets pool and resolved workstation issues.

From 2014 to 2019, Sandaruwan worked at Abans Group Sri Lanka, first as a Team Lead - Enterprise Support and later as a Senior Team Lead - Enterprise Support. Sandaruwan was mainly involved with Dell and HP servers, providing escalated support and designing and deploying server systems according to customer requirements.

In 2019, Sandaruwan joined Nokia as an Engineer - Ext (RKT NWS Core Care), where they provided systems and core care network support for Rakuten Mobile Networks in Japan. Sandaruwan also operated the Foresight - Integrated OSS Platform for issue tracking and resolution.

Sandaruwan then joined Rakuten Mobile, Inc. in 2020 as an Engineer - Strategic Planning, providing technical support to local RAN teams and coordinating with various platform teams. Sandaruwan also designed and developed new procedures to improve efficiency.

In 2020, Sandaruwan became an Engineer - Technical Supports at Toyota Tsusho Group, where they provided systems/IT help desk support and performed various tasks related to server installation, testing, and troubleshooting.

In 2022, Sandaruwan worked as an Engineer - RAN Supports at Rakuten Mobile, Inc., supporting the maintenance of high availability RAN and performing sanity checks and disk usage control.

Currently, Sandaruwan is working as an Engineer - Information Technology Operation Center at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where they support the operation center and performs tasks such as server monitoring, user inquiry response, and game updates deployment.

Sandaruwan Pathiraja completed their Bachelor of Science Special with Honors in Information Technology from SLIIT between the years 2002 and 2006. Prior to that, they studied at Maliyadeva Collage from 1992 to 2001, although no degree or field of study information is provided for this period.
