Tatyana Faktor

Tatyana Faktor has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Tatyana'smost recent position was as a Senior Engineering Manager, Payments at Sony Interactive Entertainment, starting in August 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Director Software Engineering at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. from 2010 to 2019, where they managed software development and support for large and small scale systems in hosted and private cloud environments.

Tatyana also worked at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. as a Manager Software Engineering from 2004 to 2009, where they initiated and led the implementation of the Enterprise Portal Platform and won the Liferay Conference Award. Tatyana started their journey at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. as a Software Engineer V in 2001 and provided technical leadership for software analysis, design, and development.

Before their time at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc., Tatyana served as a Technical Lead at Cayenta in 2000 and as a Senior Software Architect at CellularOne, Inc. from 1997 to 2000. Tatyana was responsible for the full development cycle and led new technology research and evaluation.

Tatyana's earlier experiences include being a Lead Software Developer at UOP - United Oil Products in 1996 and a Senior Programmer Analyst at TransUnion from 1991 to 1996.

Throughout their career, Tatyana has accumulated an extensive skill set, working with technologies such as Java, HTML, JavaScript, JDBC, VB5/VB6, ActiveX, Attachmate, Rumba, Oracle 6 PLSQL, PowerBuilder 5.0, and Cognos 5.0. Tatyana has also demonstrated expertise in software architecture, scalability, high availability, and performance.

Tatyana Faktor has a PhD in Computer Science from Pacific Southern University. Tatyana also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university. Tatyana'sundergraduate education was completed at Odessa State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Additionally, Tatyana has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include a Mindful Executive Certificate from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management in 2018, a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in 2018, and certifications in Data Modeling and Relational Database Design from Oracle in 2002. Tatyana also holds certifications in Advanced ColdFusion Development from Allaire in 1999, Oracle for Experienced SQL users from Oracle in 1999, Java Programming, Java Technology Architecture Planning and Design, and Web Component Development from Sun Microsystems in 1998. Tatyana's earliest certification is the MCSD Certification - Developing Applications with Visual Basic 4 from Microsoft in 1995, and they also have an MCSD Certification - Client Server Architecture from Microsoft in 1994. Finally, they completed a Computer Career Program at DePaul University in 1991.
