Yuji Mano has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Yuji started their career as a Software Engineer at Sony Electronics in 2002 and later joined Sony Computer Entertainment America in 2004, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2007, they moved to Sony Corporation of America and continued their role as a Senior Software Engineer. During this time, they developed the open source MARS library for Sony's PlayStation 3 Linux and collaborated with Google on the Google TV platform.
In 2010, Yuji joined Sony Network Entertainment Int'l as a Senior Software Engineer before transitioning to Netflix in 2011. At Netflix, they held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Manager for Game Consoles, and Engineering Manager for TV Platforms. In these roles, they led teams responsible for ensuring a premium and innovative Netflix experience on various devices such as game consoles, Android TVs, and Amazon Fire TVs.
Most recently, Yuji joined Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2023 as a Staff Software Engineer.
Yuji Mano attended the University of California, Davis from 1998 to 2002. Yuji obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering during their time at the university.
