Koji Kurata

Koji Kurata currently serves as the Head of Internal Communications at Sony Group Corporation since May 2019, overseeing internal communication strategies and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, particularly through the CEO's messaging and global purpose alignment. Kurata has been instrumental in launching the Sony Corporate Blog and transitioning large-scale employee meetings to remote formats during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to responsibilities at Sony Group, Kurata also leads communications at Sony Network Communications Inc. since May 2017. With a career spanning over two decades at Sony in various communications and marketing roles, including positions in corporate communications and marketing across regions, Kurata has developed extensive expertise in managing internal and external communications. Kurata holds a BA in Western History from Keio University.
