Irena Byzalov is a Senior Software Engineer at Sony Semicon since January 2021, leading the software development in machine learning frameworks within the DNN DSP group. Prior to this role, Irena worked at GE Healthcare from March 2007 to January 2020, focusing on the development of scalable micro-services applications in a Kubernetes environment, along with implementing advanced image processing algorithms in C++ and OpenCL. Additional experience includes QA internships at Biosense Webster and GE Healthcare, where Irena contributed to test development and execution. Irena is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
