Masayoshi Hashimoto

Masayoshi Hashimoto is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the General Manager and Global Head of HR for the DX Platform at Sony since October 2016. In this role, Masayoshi oversees HR strategies for the Chief Digital Officer, Global Information Systems & Communications, and Global Information Security, managing a sizable workforce primarily located outside of Japan. Prior to this position, Masayoshi held various leadership roles within Sony, including Deputy General Manager for Global HR Strategy and Business Partnering in R&D, and Director of Global HR Business Partnering across multiple divisions. Earlier experience includes roles at Microsoft and Sony Mobile Communications, with expertise in talent management, organizational restructuring, and employee engagement. Masayoshi holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Sociology from Hitotsubashi University, and has completed leadership programs at Sony University and UC Santa Barbara.
