Hisham Youssef

Hisham Youssef, AIA RIBA, is a Founding Partner at WE Design Architects, where leadership in design and project quality is paramount. With extensive teaching experience, Hisham serves as an Associate Professor of Architectural Practice at Soochow University and previously at the University for the Creative Arts and XJTLU Architecture, focusing on narrative-led design and critical thinking. Prior professional roles include Principal at CallisonRTKL, where Hisham established the Workplace group in Shanghai, and Senior Associate at Gensler, initiating the design market in Egypt. Hisham's career began at Rafael Vinoly Architects, contributing to the renowned Tokyo International Forum project. Educational credentials include a Bachelor in Applied Math and Visual Studies from Harvard University and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University.
