Laurie Ringaert

Laurie Ringaert has held various roles in the consulting, government, and nonprofit sectors. In 2015, they began their career as a Principal Consultant at Change Weavers Consulting. Laurie then took on the role of Partner-Canada at SoPact in 2016. From 2015-2020, they were the MB HIV Collective Impact Network Co-Strategic Facilitator and Program Director at Nine Circles Community Health Centre Winnipeg. In 2019, they became a Board Member at the Canadian Accessibility Standards Development Organization - Government of Canada. In 2020, they were a Champion at Common Approach to Impact Measurement. In 2021, they were a Strategic Planning Consultant at the Manitoba Museum, a Coaching Program Development at Kw'umut Lelum Child and Family Services, a Strategic Planning Consultant at Taking Charge!, and an Evaluation Consultant at the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation. In 2022, they took on the role of Strategic Facilitator at Sandy Saulteaux Spiritual Centre.

Laurie Ringaert's education history includes a MSc in Community Health Sciences from the University of Manitoba, which they obtained between 1993 and 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a BMR-OT in Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba between 1978 and 1981. Laurie also holds a BSc in Zoology from the University of Manitoba, which they obtained between 1975 and 1978. Additionally, they have participated in a Self Employment Program at YMCA.
