Abhimanyu Verma

Abhimanyu Verma serves as the Chief Technology Officer at SOPHiA GENETICS since February 2022 and is a Co-Founder & Board Member at Health Hacking Lab since September 2018. Prior to these roles, Abhimanyu Verma held various leadership positions at Novartis from April 2004 to January 2022, including VP/Head of Data Science and AI Enablement, where responsibilities included scaling Data Science and Ethical AI across the enterprise. Additional roles at Novartis involved leading technology innovations in digital health, real-world evidence, and data to insights, as well as managing P&L for multiple global initiatives. Abhimanyu Verma's early career included significant roles at General Electric, focusing on technology and process re-engineering, and as a Software Engineer at Patni Computer Systems. Abhimanyu Verma's educational background includes an MBA from the Indian School of Business, an MSc in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College, and a BE in Electronics from Nagpur University.
