Johanna Adami

Johanna Adami serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Sophiahemmet since November 2024, and holds a board member position at Vårdföretagarna, Sehlhall, Remeo AB, and Konung Gustaf V:s Jubileumsfond, all since their respective appointments in 2022 and 2023. Additionally, Johanna Adami has been the VD of SOPHIAHEMMET UPPDRAGSUTBILDNING AB and a Professor in medical science at Sophiahemmet University since January 2016. Johanna previously chaired the Board at the Myndigheten för vård- och omsorgsanalys and St. Erik Eye Hospital until late 2024 and served on the Advisory Board for the WHO collaborating centre for implementation of Evidence-based clinical health promotion during the same period. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a PhD in Epidemiology from Karolinska Institutet, and an MD from Uppsala University.
