Elison Niven

Elison Niven has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Elison started their career in 2007 as a Trainee at MacroTech Private Limited, where they developed an 8051 based embedded system. Elison then worked at Matrix Comsec as a Sr. Engineer, specializing in embedded development and hardware bring-up. In 2011, Elison joined Cyberoam as a Senior Software Engineer until 2015. During their time at Cyberoam, they gained experience in software development. Since 2015, Elison has been working at Sophos, initially as a Senior Software Engineer and currently as a Principal Software Engineer. At Sophos, they have been involved in designing and developing next-gen Firewall OS architecture, conducting bug analysis and code reviews, and performing vulnerability analysis and response.

Elison Niven completed their secondary education at Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School from 1991 to 2003. Elison then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Gujarat University, graduating in 2007.
