Heikki Laitala

Heikki Laitala is a Principal Software Engineer (AI) at Mirantis, contributing to the development of advanced AI solutions since June 2025. Previously, Laitala held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Unity Technologies, working on ad delivery systems, and served as CTO and Senior Software Engineer at ROI Financial Technologies, leading technology initiatives in the fintech sector. Additional experience includes roles at Vincit in full-stack development, Planmeca Oy focusing on embedded software, and LudoCraft Ltd. as a Game Programmer. Laitala holds an M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Oulu and has completed an exchange program at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
