Jason Acosta

Jason Acosta is a seasoned professional in sales engineering with extensive experience in the cybersecurity sector, currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Sales Engineering at Sophos since January 2014. Based in the greater Cape Coral, FL area, Jason has developed and managed global technical services and initiatives for sales teams, having previously worked in the APJ region from 2018 to 2020. Prior roles at Sophos included Senior Director of Inside Sales Engineering and Global Solutions Engineer, where contributions spanned technical training, documentation, and product strategy. Jason’s career also includes significant positions at Fortinet, Websense, SonicWALL, CDW, and Siren Technologies, showcasing a consistent focus on providing technical support and training within national accounts. Jason is pursuing executive education in Customer Loyalty and Cybersecurity at Northwestern University and MIT Sloan School of Management, respectively, augmenting a strong foundation in technology established at Purdue University.
