John Hackett

John Hackett is an experienced human resources leader with a robust background spanning over two decades in various high-level roles. Currently, John serves as Vice President of Human Resources for Asia Pacific and Japan at Sophos, having previously held the position of Senior Director in the same region. Past roles include Director of Human Resources for APAC & Japan at Pitney Bowes, and Director - Head of Human Resources South Pacific at HP, where responsibilities encompassed talent acquisition and workforce planning across multiple countries. John also has experience as a Strategy Consultant for SANE Australia, focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, and has held leadership positions at SAP, University of Sydney, Leighton Contractors, Gartner, Deloitte, and Motorola. John earned a degree from the University of South Australia from 1991 to 1993.
