Tarang Arora

Tarang Arora is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat research and analysis. Currently serving as Manager of Threat Research at Sophos since September 2014, Tarang has held various key roles including Technical Lead and Senior Threat Researcher, focusing on spam and malware analysis. Prior experience includes working as a Technical Associate at Niksun from October 2012 to August 2014, where responsibilities included malware analysis and IDS/IPS rule writing to minimize false positives. Earlier, Tarang was a Network Administrator for the MANNET Team at the College of Engineering-Roorkee, managing networking tasks such as routing, switching, and bandwidth management. Tarang holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from COER University, completed in 2012, along with a 12th-grade education in PCM and a 10th-grade education in Science from Krishna Public School.
