Tony Young

Tony Young is the Chief Information Officer at Sophos. Prior to joining Sophos, Tony was the Chairman Advisory Board at Mode.net, which was successfully acquired by VMware. Tony has also served on the Advisory Board at CloudSimple, where they led global IT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Operations.

Tony is a transformational leader with a proven track record of success in delivering complex global IT initiatives. Tony is an expert in cybersecurity and has been instrumental in establishing Sophos as an industry leader in this area. Tony has also overseen the successful relocation of 80% of the applications team to a higher performing, low-cost geography.

Looking to the future, Tony has defined the architectural blueprints and principles that the team will follow to ensure Sophos infrastructure and applications will securely scale with high velocity. Under Tony’s leadership, Sophos is well positioned to continue its trajectory of growth and success.

Tony Young has a Masters in Business Administration from Santa Clara University with an Emphasis in Marketing. Tony also has a Bachelor of Science from Santa Clara University in Information Systems.

They are on a team with Joe Levy - Chief Technology and Product Officer, Matt Fairbanks - Chief Marketing Officer, and Michael Anderson - Chief Customer Support Officer. Their manager is Kris Hagerman, Chief Executive Officer.
