Asha Potla has extensive work experience in product management and marketing roles. Asha has held various positions at different companies over the years.

In their most recent position as the Director of Product Management at Soprano Design, Asha leads the Product team and is responsible for coaching, guiding, and managing their performance. Asha oversees the smooth running of the Product function to meet business goals and is involved in product planning and business planning.

Prior to that, Asha was a Senior Product Manager at Soprano Design, where they also led the Product team and ensured the smooth running of the Product function. Asha was responsible for competitive analysis and market research.

Before joining Soprano Design, Asha worked at Sage as an APAC Product Manager and Evangelist for their Enterprise Management product. Asha contributed to the global product strategy and roadmap, formulated regional strategies, and collaborated closely with sales, pre-sales, and professional services teams.

Asha also has experience as a Product and Marketing Manager at Vertel, where they led service innovation and marketing teams. Asha'sfocus was on product management, product planning, customer engagement, and product marketing.

Prior to Vertel, Asha worked as a PMM (Product Marketing Manager) at Sage Business Solutions, handling regional product marketing activities for Sage ERP and CRM solutions. Asha was responsible for sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and monitoring competitor activity.

Asha also has experience at CA Technologies as a Senior Product Manager, where they managed the development of the APM Customer Experience Manager (CEM) product. Asha drove its adoption, growth, and development, and maintained the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Earlier in their career, Asha worked as a Senior Product Manager at Oracle Corporation, where they managed Oracle Fusion and Siebel CRM applications with a focus on e-commerce. Asha had a deep understanding of the CRM and e-commerce market and was involved in product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Asha started their career as a Project Manager at Convergys IMG, where they handled projects related to Atlys telecom billing software. Asha was responsible for project development, planning, and managing budgets, timelines, and resources.

Finally, Asha worked as a Software Engineer at Veritas Software, where they were involved in the design and development of the SAN Point Direct product. Asha also handled release management activities for the VRTS file system and collaborated with OEM vendors.

Asha Potla's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Hons) and a Master's degree in Information Systems (M.Sc. Tech). Additionally, they completed a Post Graduate Program in Management (MBA) with a specialization in Strategic Marketing and Analytical Finance from the Indian School of Business. Asha Potla also holds a certification as a GMI Certified Mentor from the Global Mentorship Initiative, which they obtained in August 2022.
