Marco Marton has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Marco started their career in 2001 as a Basketball Referee for the Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro, where they officiated for almost 20 years and covered several regional and national positions.
In 2009, Marton joined NOVAGLASS S.P.A. as a Business Manager, where they successfully led the company through a crisis and implemented a full corporate restructuring. Marco then became the Export Manager, achieving significant growth in business operations within EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions.
In 2016, Marton joined SOPREMA France as the Regional Managing Director. In 2020, they also took on the role of Head of Marketing and Strategy for East Europe.
Throughout their career, Marton demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on international business development. Marco played a key role in negotiations that led to new partnerships and successfully implemented market access strategies.
Marco Marton completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Università degli Studi di Udine in 2007. Marco then pursued a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics at the same institution, completing it in 2010. Currently, they are enrolled in an Executive MBA program at ESCP Business School, starting in 2023.
