Jeremy Howard

Director Of Liquids Manufacturing, North Americas at Soprema Inc.

Jeremy Howard has a diverse work experience in various operations management roles. Jeremy started their career as a Production Leader at ASMO Manufacturing Inc., DENSO in 1999, and later became a Quality Manager before transitioning to a Production Manager role. During their time at ASMO, Jeremy implemented effective quality control measures and achieved Toyota Excellence and Honda Service awards for delivery, quality, and innovation.

In 2010, Jeremy joined MANN+HUMMEL Group as an Operations Manager, where they led a fast-growing automotive plastics manufacturer. Jeremy successfully developed a highly motivated team focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Jeremy utilized lean tools, such as 5S, Standardized Work, and Visual Management, to drive top results.

After leaving MANN+HUMMEL, Jeremy joined Vaupell in 2015 as a Senior Operations Manager. Jeremy managed a precision plastics injection molding and assembly facility, implementing lean systems and cultural changes. Jeremy's efforts in this role included the implementation of 8D methodology, Gemba mindset, and kaizen practices.

Most recently, Jeremy served in various roles at SOPREMA USA, starting as an Operations Manager at the Chem Link facility in 2017. Jeremy played a critical role in deploying Lean Sigma, Automation, and Kaizen practices to reduce waste, improve efficiencies, deliveries, and profitability. Jeremy later became the Director of Operations at the Chem Link facility and, most recently, the Director of Liquids Manufacturing for North Americas, where they oversee manufacturing operations.

Jeremy Howard has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Western Michigan University. Jeremy also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Engineering in Machine Design from Glen Oaks Community College. Jeremy completed their College Prep education with a focus on CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician at Sturgis High School. In 2014, Jeremy attended the MANN+HUMMEL Leadership Academy, where they completed a Leadership Program in Strategic Planning, Delegation, and Emotional Intelligence. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Executive Leadership from the American Management Association. Jeremy has also received a Leadership Certificate from Dale Carnegie. In 2012, they completed a Certificate in Executive Finance with a specialization in Finance, General, from the American Management Association.
