Marina Soucy

Marina Soucy currently serves as the Dean of Students and High School Humanities Teacher at Sora Schools, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Marina was a 7th/8th Grade U.S. History Teacher at St. Hope Leadership Academy from August 2017 to July 2022. In addition to teaching roles, Marina gained experience as a Tour Guide in the Bard College Office of Admissions from August 2012 to March 2022 and worked as a Supervisor and Barista at Taste Budd's Cafe from August 2013 to June 2015. Marina also contributed to sustainability efforts as a Co-coordinator of Sustainability for Special Events at the Bard Office of Sustainability between May 2014 and May 2015. Marina's early experience includes serving as a Student Teacher at Abigail Lundquidst Botstein Nursery School from October 2011 to May 2012. Marina holds a Master's degree in Arts in Teaching (MAT) with a focus on History and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design, both from Bard College.
