Shaun Cary

Shaun Cary is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sorenson Engineering Inc. since December 2019, specializing in fixture design and development for high-volume automated inspection. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer in Manufacturing and Quality, where Shaun successfully set up machinery for over 80 unique products, and as an Automation Engineer Intern, where Shaun contributed to the analysis and deployment of automated feed systems. Additionally, Shaun interned at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and supported a team in designing a concept ship, while earlier experiences included serving as a Resident Assistant Intern at California Baptist University and founding a small business focused on leather and wood products. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from California Baptist University and has earlier education from Riverside City College.
