Ming Zhao

Ming Zhao is a Senior Scientist at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., leading a Cell Biology group focused on the development of assays for cytokine therapy, cell therapy, and mRNA gene therapy, aiding advances in cancer and autoimmune diseases while fostering cross-functional collaboration and guiding IND-enabling studies. Prior roles include Scientific Director and VP of Business Development at AntiCancer Inc., where Ming Zhao provided managerial and scientific leadership in oncology drug discovery and preclinical studies, and earlier as a Senior Scientist/Principal Scientist, contributing to gene therapy and oncolytic bacteria cancer therapies.
