Yanwen Fu

Yanwen Fu is an accomplished leader in the field of antibody drug conjugates and chemical immunotherapy, currently serving as Executive Director of Antibody Drug Conjugate R&D at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. since July 2013. With a progressive career at Sorrento, Yanwen Fu has also held roles as Senior Director and Director, focusing on immune cell-antibody conjugate platforms and antibody fragment drug conjugate programs, respectively. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Pfizer, where Yanwen Fu served as Principal Scientist and Chemistry lead on therapeutic CovX-Body projects while advancing through various scientific roles. Earlier career highlights include synthesizing diagnostic molecules at Abbott and conducting research as a PostDoctoral Researcher at The Scripps Research Institute. Yanwen Fu holds a Ph.D. in Organic/Bioorganic Chemistry from Louisiana State University.
