Dr. Casey Hughlett

Dr. Casey Hughlett has worked in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science since 2004. In 2012, they began working at EyeVerify as a Biometrics & Computer Vision Scientist, where they co-invented many of the technologies, performed computer vision research and development, and architected and engineered the software. In 2016, they moved on to RiskGenius as the Global Head of AI & Analytics, where they partnered with senior leadership, subject-matter experts and other stakeholders throughout the company to identify trends and opportunities, plot and navigate the scientific course of the company, and combine discipline-specific knowledge in quantitative analysis, machine learning, natural language processing, image processing, computer vision and data science with leadership and business skills to promote the efficiency, profitability and competitive position of the company. In 2020, Dr. Hughlett joined AuthenticID as the Chairman of the Board of Research and Director of Research. Finally, in 2022, they began working at Sortera Alloys, Inc. as the Executive Director of Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Casey Hughlett received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Oklahoma State University between 1999 and 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University between 1997 and 1999. Dr. Casey also obtained two Bachelor's degrees, one in Business Administration, Management and Operations and one in Computer Science from Oklahoma Christian University between 1993 and 1997.
