Lakshmi Chellappan has held a variety of roles in the engineering field since 2016. Lakshmi began their career as an Intern at KaaShiv InfoTech, followed by a Trainee role at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research in 2017. In 2016, they took on a role as a Project Engineer - Electrical Systems at SAEINDIA. In 2018, they were selected for a competitive research exchange program at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, where they worked on their Capstone Project and Bachelors Thesis. From 2019 to 2020, they held the role of Graduate Research Assistant at UTARI - Autonomous Intelligent Systems Research, where they implemented Lead-Follower algorithm on Turtlebot-2I using Simultaneous Localization and Mapping(SLAM) and Adaptive Monte-Carlo Localization (AMCL) Algorithms. Lakshmi then held the role of Electrical Engineering Intern at UHV Technologies, Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Sortera Alloys, Inc.
Lakshmi Chellappan has a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington (2019-2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vel Tech Technical University (2014-2018).
