Alex Rozgo has a diverse work experience in the fields of technology, gaming, and simulation. They have held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Lead Engineer at Vernet, Inc, where they were responsible for overseeing the development of educational games. They then worked as a Producer at Praelego Studios, focusing on producing animated specials, music videos, and TV shows while researching and applying new technologies in media production.

Moving on, Alex joined LucasArts as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of game systems for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and leading game and tools scripting development efforts. They later took on the role of Lead Engineer at Team Rawbots, where they designed and developed a robot crafting sandbox game and engaged with the user community.

Continuing their career, Alex founded Beyond Games, where they served as the Founder and CTO. They pioneered a distributed exchange system with "smart contract"-like computations for persistent MMO economies and developed a custom reactive rendering engine for modern real-time mobile games. They also played a significant role in scaling the team from 5 to 30 engineers across two countries.

Next, Alex joined Shield AI as a Senior Simulation Scientist, where they led the development of the defense metaverse, combining synthetic environments with human-machine tactics and behaviors. They focused on massive multi-agent testing and learning in real physics simulations, reducing engineering cycle times, and enabling rapid real-world deployment. They also developed reinforcement learning pipelines, custom 3D engines, and AI-driven sensors.

Following this, Alex worked at Vertex Studio as a Co-Founder and Technical Advisor, leveraging technologies such as Unreal Engine, PyTorch, and NVidia. They focused on developing artificial intelligence for autonomous robots, synthetic datasets for machine learning training, and virtual worlds for reinforcement learning.

Before that, Alex joined Simbotic AI as the Lead Simulation and AI Engineer, leading the development of an open-source simulation and AI platform. They focused on real-time pipelines for generating synthetic data for training AI models and integrating physics-based dynamics and computer vision into game engines.

Prior to that, Alex served as the Director of Technology at SugarFunge Protocol, where they designed and developed a blockchain platform for privately owned economies. They worked on game theory and economy simulators, as well as AI-driven market makers.

Currently, Alex is the Chief Technology Officer at Sortium, where they are responsible for developing AI-driven technical pipelines for games and virtual production. They are also involved in fine-tuning generative AI models, building infrastructure for game AI at scale, and product development for the creators platform.

Alex Rozgo attended the University of El Tuque, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science.
