Mrs Adzo Ashie

Vice Principal II at SOS-HGIC

Mrs Adzo Ashie is a proud alumna of SOS-HGIC and was a member of the pioneering class of the IB Diploma Programme. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College, and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration (focused on Educational Policy) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She started her career in Education as an Admissions Counselor at Mount Holyoke College and later went on to work as a Research Associate for the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy in Washington, DC. In 2004 she returned to Ghana to work as Education Director for Orphanage Africa. She then joined Ashesi University College as Associate Director for Career Placement and soon after became the Dean of Student and Community Affairs and a member of the Executive Team at Ashesi University. In 2012 she joined the IB and became the first IB Africa Regional Development Manager.
