Peter K. Handest

Peter K. Handest has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Peter K. has held various leadership and managerial roles in different companies.

Peter K.'smost recent position was as the Head of Application Development Copenhagen at SOS International, where they started in 2024. Prior to that, from 2023 to 2023, they worked as a Souschef - International Cooperation at Udviklings- og Forenklingsstyrelsen.

From 2021 to 2023, Peter served as the Head of IT / CIO / CTO at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers A/S. In this role, they were responsible for IT Operations and Development.

Peter K. started their career at PFA Pension as the Manager of IT Web Portals & Service Bus Support, where they led a team of IT professionals and introduced agile methodologies.

Peter's early career includes roles as Head of Commercial IT Development at Sterling Airlines A/S and CEO of Webbish, a web development company that they co-founded.

Throughout their work experience, Peter has demonstrated their expertise in agile methodologies and leading teams in IT development and operations.

Peter K. Handest attended Lyngby Uddannelsescenter from 1995 to 1997, where they earned a degree in Systems Development as a Datamatiker. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1990, they attended Frederiksborg Gymnasium and completed the HF field of study. Peter K.'seducation journey began at Helsinge Realskole, where they completed their elementary schooling from 1977 to 1986.
