Troels Bohnsen

Troels Bohnsen has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Troels started their career at Nordea as a trainee and bank advisor, where they gained experience in investment management. Troels then joined Jyske Bank, where they worked as a currency and interest rate advisor, and later as a trustee and investment advisor. Troels'sresponsibilities included financial risk management and developing financial policies.

In 2014, Troels joined SOS International, initially as a Finance Manager, where they led the accounting department and implemented OCR scanning. Troels quickly advanced to Head of Group Treasury, responsible for building and leading the Group Treasury, including cash management, risk management, and bank relationship management. Troels then transitioned to roles focusing on data and analytics, serving as the Head of Group Business Intelligence & Group Treasury, and later as the Head of Group Data & Analytics and Group Treasury. In these roles, they focused on developing a robust data platform, creating actionable insights, and implementing automation to enhance customer experience and improve processes. Troels was also selected by the CEO to co-lead the strategy process task force.

Troels has a track record of driving organizational growth and transformation through strategic planning, data utilization, and process optimization.

Troels Bohnsen has a diverse education history. Troels obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from Aarhus University in 2004. In 2009, they became a certified currency dealer through the ACI Financial Markets Association. Troels also completed a training program in coaching and leadership at Idrætshøjskolen i Sønderborg in 2000. Troels furthered their education by earning a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Management and Leadership from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark in 2017. Troels pursued additional executive education at CBS Executive Fonden, specializing in "Retorisk Lederskab" in 2017 and "Disrupt your mindset with Big Data" in 2020. Additionally, Troels has recently obtained certifications in leadership from the Authentic Leadership Program at HENRIETTE VINTHER CONSULTING, and they are currently enrolled in the Accelerate Leadership Academy offered by Bain & Company, with an anticipated completion date in 2023.
