Dustin Johnson

Dustin Johnson has held a variety of positions in the technology and engineering fields since 2014. Dustin began their career as an Observational Astrophysics Researcher, Teaching Associate, and Supplemental Instructor at California State University, Fullerton. In 2017, they joined SOTA Imaging as an Engineering Manager, Systems Development Engineer, and Director of Engineering. In this role, they provided oversight and guidance to requirements definition processes for products in development, represented company engineering interests in communication with other companies and organizations, and authored FDA 510(k) pre-market clearance filings. Dustin also acted as the management representative for two successful routine Level 2 QSIT FDA inspections and developed and submitted patents and other intellectual property filings. In 2022, they became the Chief Technology Officer at SOTA Cloud.

Dustin Johnson has a Master of Science in Software Engineering and a Master of Science in Physics from California State University, Fullerton. Dustin also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics with a minor in History from California State University, Fullerton. Theireducational background also includes an A.A. in History from San Diego Mesa College. Additionally, Johnson holds a certification as an FDA 21 CFR 820 Internal Auditor from Mansour Consulting, obtained in January 2019.
