Caroline Mylward

Caroline Mylward is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Corporate and Securities Counsel at Sotheby's since March 2021. Previously, Caroline worked as a consultant at Peerpoint and as Director at Mylward Consulting Limited, providing legal, compliance, regulatory, and governance consultancy services. From 2005 to 2018, Caroline held various director roles in Barclays Compliance, including Director of Complex Regulatory Investigations and Head of Conduct Risk, after starting as Legal Counsel at Barclays. Additionally, Caroline was a legal secondee at the Financial Services Authority in 2008 and began a career as an Associate at Allen & Overy. Caroline holds a Master of Arts in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford and completed the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law.
