George Lacey is an accomplished professional in the fine wine industry, currently serving as Head of Wine for Asia and Director at Sotheby's since February 2021, while also holding the position of Head of UK Sales at Sotheby's Wine. Prior experience includes managing regional private client sales for South East Asia at Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd, where exceptional growth was achieved across several ASEAN markets, and roles in business development and client management at FINE+RARE. Lacey's educational background includes a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, complemented by advanced wine qualifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and an Associateship from the Royal College of Organists.
