Patrick Steadman

Patrick Steadman is a Senior Staff Engineer at Sotheby's, where responsibilities include enhancing the reliability and development speed of various software products, particularly the hybrid live/online auction experience. As a co-founder of Computer Lab, Patrick led the development of a software as a service product that assists museums in providing accessible video installations. Previous experience includes a software engineering internship at Moat, where a perceptual hashing system for video de-duplication was created, as well as intern roles at Priceline.com and IMAX Corporation. Earlier in the career, Patrick worked as a Sales Engineer and Translator for Eastman Machine Company in China, facilitating production processes. Patrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from Cornell University.
