Michaela Fojtů

Senior Scientist In Preclinical Pharmacology at Sotio

Michaela Fojtů is a Senior Scientist in Preclinical Pharmacology at SOTIO Biotech, specializing in in vivo pharmacology studies for antibody-drug conjugate discovery projects since January 2022. Michaela has been an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at Masaryk University since January 2016, contributing to the Department of Physiology and Department of Pathological Physiology. Prior research includes roles as a Fulbright Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital from January to October 2021, and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Vysoká škola chemicko-technologická v Praze from October 2018 to December 2020. Michaela's early career involved positions as a Junior Research Scientist at CEITEC, a Visiting Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, and a Lecturer at the Masaryk University Science Learning Centre. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pathological Physiology and an RNDr. in Biochemistry from Masaryk University and Charles University, respectively, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Genomics and Proteomics and Biochemistry from Masaryk University.
