Arttu Ohtonen

Arttu Ohtonen currently serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Sotkamo Silver AB since May 2022, following a progressive career at Sotkamo Silver Oy where roles included Managing Director, HSEQ Manager, Environmental Manager, and Environmental Engineer from November 2012 to July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Shift Leader in the bioleaching department at Talvivaara Sotkamo and as a Process Operator, alongside holding positions as a Thesis Student at Pirkanmaan jätehuolto and a Summer Trainee at Nokia Siemens Networks Finland. Arttu Ohtonen began an engineering career as an Associate Engineer in R&D with Filtronic/Powerwave Technologies. Arttu Ohtonen holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering Technology from the University of Oulu, attained in 2012.
