Maria Cruz

Maria Cruz is a Renewable Energy Project Coordinator at Souder, Miller & Associates since April 2023. Previously, Maria served as a Research Assistant at The University of New Mexico from August 2021 to December 2022 and held an internship at B&D Industries, Inc. in both purchasing and safety roles from December 2020 to January 2022. Maria has experience as a Peer Coach for SSS-TRIO at The University of New Mexico, supporting students in various areas from August 2018 to May 2021, and completed an internship at Little Prairie Services in summer 2018, contributing to a project focused on sample collection from moon craters. Earlier experience includes a lab internship at Xilinx Inc. from October 2015 to July 2016. Maria holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Mexico School of Engineering, along with Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of New Mexico, completed between 2016 and 2021.
