Samantha Alderfer is an experienced educator specializing in learning support and autism intervention. Currently serving as a K-3 Learning Support Teacher at Souderton Area School District since August 2019, Samantha previously held the position of Middle Level Autistic Support Teacher at Capital Area Intermediate Unit from August 2017 to August 2019. Responsibilities have included conducting behavior assessments, managing inclusive classrooms, monitoring student progress, and transitioning students to less-restrictive environments. In addition, Samantha has actively contributed to various school committees, including the Positive Behavioral and Intervention Supports Team and the Yearbook Committee. Earlier experience includes serving as an Americorps Vista with the Corporation for National and Community Service and as an Office Assistant for the Teacher Education Program at Messiah College. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science degree with dual teaching certifications in Pre-Kindergarten to 4th grade and Special Education from Messiah University.
