Shane Blackett

Shane Blackett has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Shane started their career as a Research Engineer at The University of Auckland in 1994 and continued in that role until 2007. Shane then joined Titanium Solutions as a Research Engineer and later became the Development Manager, a position they held from 2010 to 2017. Following this, they joined Soul Machines as a Senior Research Engineer and eventually worked their way up to the role of VP of Software and Technology. Shane briefly acted as the Acting CTO before becoming the Chief Technology Officer at Soul Machines in 2023. Shane'scurrent role is CTO at Soul Machines.

Shane Blackett completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering from The University of Auckland, studying from 1990 to 1992. Shane then pursued their Master's degree in Engineering from the same university, attending from 1993 to 1994.
