Dr. Chelsey Hauge-Zavaleta

Dr. Chelsey Hauge-Zavaleta is an accomplished academic and nonprofit leader with extensive experience in education, research, and social justice. Currently serving as Executive Director and Certified Positive Parenthood Coach at Positive Parenthood since May 2018, Dr. Hauge-Zavaleta also holds roles as School Care Ambassador and Lead Adult Program Facilitator at Soul Shoppe, as well as Executive Director at Guiding Cooperation. Prior experience includes significant research positions at The Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford University, Brock University's Social Justice Research Institute, and Education Development Center, focusing on gender, technology, social inequality, and youth literacies. Dr. Hauge-Zavaleta's educational background includes a PhD in Education from the University of British Columbia, a Master's degree from The New School, and a Bachelor of Arts from Pitzer College.
