Sound Biologics
Andi Liu is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in method development for biologics, currently working at Sound Biologics since December 2022. Prior to this role, Andi spent time as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington, focusing on proteomics and machine learning applications in protein design. Previous experience includes a research assistant position at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology, where Andi elucidated enzyme mechanisms and characterized protein modifications. Andi also contributed as a consultant for Illinois Business Consulting, performed teaching duties at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and interned in R&D at Novozymes. Education includes a PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science from Beijing Normal University, supplemented by an exchange program at UC San Diego.
