Jay Vollberg

Jay Vollberg is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in audio software development. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Sound Devices, LLC since November 2016, Jay has previously held significant roles at Sony Creative Software, where responsibilities included leading the development of several versions of ACID Pro and contributions to Sound Forge 10, particularly in loudness measurement compliance. With a background as a Senior Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer at Sony Creative Software from 2003 to 2014, Jay enhanced various features related to audio metadata and playback. Additionally, experience as a Software Design Engineer at Sonic Foundry furthers expertise in audio effect plug-in development. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, obtained from West Virginia University and the University of Miami.
