David Rous

David Rous has a diverse work experience starting from 1998 with GE Capital, where they completed the Financial Management Program (FMP). David then worked at GE Aircraft Engines as a Deal Analyst before joining GE Antares Capital in 2002. At GE Antares Capital, David held various roles including Associate, Assistant Vice President, Vice President, and Senior Vice President & Team Leader. David played a key role in the formation and leadership of the Senior Secured Loan Fund LLC. In 2014, David joined CVC Credit as a Managing Director, where they were responsible for originating transactions, leading deal teams, and mentoring junior employees. David also played a role in fundraising activities. Most recently, in 2021, David became a Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Sound Point Capital Management, LP, where they are a member of the private debt investment committee and leads underwriting deal teams.

David Rous completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the University of Vermont from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2004 to 2006.
