Jeffrey Szilagyi

Jeffrey Szilagyi has over 30 years of experience in the finance industry, specializing in quantitative analytics and strategy. Jeffrey is currently the Head of Quantitative Analytics at Sound Point Capital Management, LP. Prior to their current role, they served as the Head of Quantitative Strategy at Assured Investment Management for four years. Jeffrey also worked as a Quantitative Strategist at BlueMountain Capital Management for 15 years and at Onyx Capital Management for three years. Jeffrey began their career at J.P. Morgan, where they held the position of Vice President for nine years.

Jeffrey Szilagyi has a strong educational background in both management and electrical engineering. Jeffrey obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating between the years 1984 and 1988.

In addition to their formal education, Jeffrey has also obtained several certifications in the field of machine learning. These include certifications in "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Machine Learning," all obtained from Coursera. Jeffrey'smost recent certifications were completed in 2023, while they obtained a certification in Machine Learning in 2015.
