Albert Kao

Albert Kao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public safety, security, and financial investigations. Currently serving as the Public Safety Contracts and Agreements Manager at Sound Transit since November 2022, Albert manages the administrative facets of the Public Safety Division's contracts. Prior roles include overseeing a Federal Air Marshal field office at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and supervising operations within the TSA’s Mission Operations Center. Albert's career also features significant contributions to civil aviation security and criminal investigation with the IRS. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Homeland Defense and Security from the Naval Postgraduate School and an MBA from the University of Washington, along with bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Analysis from Texas A&M University.
